Grade 2 - Administrative Assistant

£15,807 - £18,746 pro rata

27.5 hrs per week (Term Time Only)

Working Pattern: 7.30am - 1pm Mon – Fri

 

Springfield House is a highly successful day/residential special school for pupils aged 5-11 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.  The majority of the children live in Birmingham with a small number travelling from Solihull and Warwickshire.

The Federated Governing Body of Springfield House School and Lindsworth School are seeking to appoint a professional, reliable and committed person.  You will join our school’s friendly, forward thinking pro-active team who are committed to further improving outcomes for very vulnerable young people.  The successful candidate will be required to undertake a wide range of general office duties.  These will including liaising with pupils, parents, visitors and outside agencies, telephone and reception support, photocopying, filing and general clerical support. You will also be required to arrange   EHCP's (Education Health Care Plans) meetings including the preparation of relevant paperwork.

Good organisation and communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure is essential.

Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
