Charities & Support

Family Fund
The Family Fund is the UK’s largest provider of grants to families living on the lowest incomes. It gives grants to families who are raising a disabled or seriously ill child aged 17 and under.

The Fund’s grants bring practical and essential help that is often a lifeline to a family such as washing machines, fridges, bedding, specialist toys and much-needed family breaks. It has also provided grants for computers and tablets. Family breaks are usually booked through holiday providers such as Haven and the Inspire travel company. They are able to help with breaks around the UK and abroad. With limited funding it tries to help as many families as it can. It uses its own eligibility criteria to ensure that it only helps families in the most need.

Resources for Autism - click here for more information
Resources for Autism is a registered charity. We provide practical services for children and adults with a diagnosis of autism and for those who love and care for them. We have a team of trained, enthusiastic and kind staff and volunteers offering a wide range of support. All our staff are autism specialists who understand communication and sensory needs.

We love getting to know each individual and exploring their passions and challenges – whether this be physical, emotional or social. We operate across Greater London and the West Midlands and are driven by an ethos of absolute acceptance of each individual exactly as they are; from a place of true understanding. We have found that this can take many forms; developing resilient parents and resilient children, hands-on training and consultancy, services centred around individuals interests and goals ranging from Music Therapy to Social clubs. We would love to tell you more.
