Seesaw Parental Consent

Dear Parents/Carers,

While our school is closed to many of our pupils, we will use Seesaw for home learning. Seesaw helps us work together to provide students with meaningful learning experiences at home.

Your child’s teacher will use Seesaw to share learning activities and resources, capture your child’s learning, and communicate about progress and needs.

In order for your child to use Seesaw, the app needs your child’s name to enable it to associate work like their photos, videos or voice recordings with their account. Seesaw only uses this information to provide the service and doesn’t advertise in Seesaw, create profiles of students, or share or sell your child’s personal information or journal content. You can read more about their strong privacy promises here: https://web.seesaw.me/privacy.

Under an EU law called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in order for your child to use Seesaw, the school must get your consent.

Please complete the form below giving permission for your child to use seesaw for home learning. Once we have received this permission we will set up their account and contact you to give you a personalised text code which will allow them to log on securely.

Seesaw consent form, please read and then complete the boxes below.
